View the overhead hooks, open chamber, recovery equipment and controls in the original BlastMech equipment tour.
The approximately 67-second video shows the assembly, components and original machine finish. Final equipment and condition are confirmed for the unit quoted.
SHOT BLASTING OVERVIEW
The TB series turns suitable parts together in a batch. Confirm that the parts can tolerate contact during tumbling, and provide part and batch information.
The SH series suspends parts from overhead hooks. Part shape, fixture design, hanging weight and clearance define the application.
Review the complete machine, media recovery equipment, collector, ducting and controls as one quoted system. Inclusions depend on the actual unit.
Barrel dimensions, opening dimensions and usable hanging-part envelope are different measurements. Use the model table to compare the range and confirm the specific machine ratings before purchase.
BLASTMECH MACHINE FEATURES
Choose the loading method around your parts.

RUBBER BELT TUMBLER
Batch cleaning for parts that can tumble.
TB shot blast machines use a rubber belt to turn suitable parts during batch processing. The range includes the TB-6 and TB-15 with different barrel sizes.
Choose this loading method for parts that can tolerate contact with one another. Provide individual part dimensions, weight, batch size and required finish so the application can be reviewed.
Barrel dimensions describe the working geometry; they are not a batch load rating.
SPINNER HANGER
Suspended loading for individual parts.
SH shot blasting machines hold work from overhead hooks for processing inside the chamber. The supplied photographs show the SH-53-70-B configuration with two hoists and a separate control cabinet.
Suspended loading may suit parts that need individual handling. Confirm the hanging envelope, fixture weight, rotation clearance and rated load for the actual machine offered.

TWIN HOOK HANDLING
Overhead access to the chamber.
The photographed spinner hanger has two orange hoists on a yellow overhead track. The hooks bring suspended work to the chamber.
Define how the parts will hang, where fixtures attach and the total suspended weight. The photographed unit has a combined two-hook load rating; confirm the complete loading arrangement for your application.
TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS
A clear view of the machine controls.
The photographed SH equipment has a Siemens SIMATIC HMI alongside physical operating controls. A separate pendant is shown at the loading area.
Controller configuration, electrical package and site power are confirmed for the specific unit. Include your power supply and operating requirements with the quote request.

MEDIA RECOVERY & DUST COLLECTION
Review the complete system.
The supplied TB rear view shows the recovery elevator, separation equipment, flexible ducting and dust collector behind the blasting cabinet.
Ask for a complete equipment list covering the machine, recovery components, collector, controls and connections. Review layout and site requirements against the actual unit being quoted.
CASTINGS & FORGINGS
Start with the parts you make.
Shot blasting applications include the surface preparation of suitable castings, forgings and manufactured metal parts. Selection begins with the actual part material, geometry, surface condition and required finish.
Send part drawings or photos, maximum dimensions and weight, and expected production quantities. MetalPress can review the loading approach and machine fit.

SH-53-70-B CONFIGURATION
The photographed unit has its own ratings.
The original nameplate identifies SH-53-70-B, serial 80970, May 2023.
- Maximum size: Ø27″ × 43″ (approximately Ø686 mm × 1,092 mm).
- Combined capacity across two hooks: 1,000 lb (approximately 454 kg).
- Electrical supply: 480 V, 60 Hz, 3-phase, 44 A.
These are the photographed configuration’s ratings. Confirm the unit offered and the part/fixture requirements; do not substitute the general opening dimensions for the usable part envelope.

Inch values are approximate conversions of the listed metric dimensions. Barrel and opening dimensions are different measurements. Confirm orientation, usable part envelope, loading and equipment details for the actual unit.
SHOT BLAST MACHINE FAQ
Shot blasting machines are used for surface preparation and cleaning of suitable metal parts. The loading method, media, process settings and required finish must be matched to the actual work.
Consider a tumble belt machine when parts can turn together in a batch. Consider suspended loading when parts need individual handling. Confirm part contact tolerance, fixture design, weight and usable working envelope.
The listed range includes TB-6, TB-15 and SH-53-70. The supplied photos also show an SH-53-70-B configuration. MetalPress confirms current inventory, condition and unit pricing.
No. The opening dimensions are not the usable hanging-part envelope or load rating. Check the actual nameplate, part and fixture dimensions, loading limits and required clearance.
Ask for the specific unit’s equipment list, condition, inspection information, collection or shipping arrangements and any applicable warranty terms. Inclusions and terms are confirmed with the quotation.
Include the model or loading method, part photos or drawings, maximum dimensions and weight, material, required finish, batch or hanging arrangement, expected quantities, site power and destination.
