Prepare a Fabrication Application Enquiry
Share the part drawing, material grade and condition, thickness, finished dimensions, typical batch size and required tolerances. For bending, include the longest bend, flange dimensions and bend radius. For shearing, include full sheet dimensions and the narrowest cut. For punching or notching, include hole sizes, edge distances and profile access.
Add loading and unloading arrangements, available floor space, utilities and any tooling or inspection requirements. Send your fabrication requirements so the machine family, model and options can be reviewed together.
Fabrication Application Questions
Use these answers to connect the manufacturing requirement to the appropriate equipment review.
Which machine suits cutting, bending or punching?
A guillotine shear prepares straight-cut sheet and plate blanks. A CNC press brake forms bends and flanges using the selected tooling. An ironworker combines dedicated punching, bar/angle shearing and notching stations. Compare the required operation with the fabrication equipment families.
Can the same component need more than one machine?
Yes. An enclosure panel may need a cut blank followed by several bends, while a mounting bracket may need cutting, holes, notches and a formed flange. Choose the operation sequence around the part geometry, tooling access, positioning and production quantity.
How does the material affect equipment selection?
Specify grade, strength, thickness and condition. These affect cutting and punching loads, bend radius, springback, tooling and surface protection. Review the material-specific capacity and setup for the selected model.
Where are machine models and specifications listed?
Use the press-brake product page, guillotine-shear product page and ironworker product page for model ranges, published specifications and configuration details. Use this application hub to organize the part and process requirements.
